I have been, in the past going to the list of authorized devices and removing all devices that were old or no longer in use but it seems like the plex server is now listed in there as well and one of them late night, I did not pay attention and removed my server from the list as well.
Now I have to log into HTTP://SERVER_IP:32400/web to then claim the server which kinda works but then I lose access to my libraries and it says that I do not have any access to this server…
Now when I log into the web app from plex.tv and then launch it, I see two servers named Plex but one says that I do not have access to it and nothing happens when I click on the other one (which btw never gets removed even when I go back and remove the recently added server from the authorized device list)
Any idea on how to resolve this issue? Below are the specs:
CentOS Linux release 7.7.1908 (Core)
plexmediaserver-1.18.2.2058-e67a4e892.x86_64
BTW this all happened after a server crashed and I updated it and mistakenly removed it from the list of authorized devices.
I will see if I can find which logs would be relevant but am also building a new server though I am not sure how to migrate my libraries over.
So I have built a new server on Fedora 31, re-installed plex and copied the folder over from the previous server.
I can log into the web portal (http://SERVER_IP/32400/web) and see all my stuff but once I try claiming the server it will screw things and up tell me I got no access to the server.
Thank you for that but I have tried that multiple times with no luck. Actually when claiming the server I get an error saying “: There was a problem signing in to Plex.” but then proceed to telling me I don’t have access to the server and I am back to not being able to get to it even locally at which point I have to remove it again to at least get to it internally.
