# Can't save modified Advanced Settings for Libraries

Server Version#: 1.24.5.5173
Player Version#: 4.63.0
When I try to change settings under Advanced in Edit Library I get the message “Your changes could not be saved”.
When I try this, I get this error in the system log:

Can you send me the entire log? What setting were you trying to change?

I was trying to change scanner agents, but other settings also did the same thing. I lost a lot of stability–couldn’t keep it running for more than a few hours at a time before it would become unresponsive to the web client. Other clients were iffy on whether they would play or not. Sounded similar to some of the other recent reports of instability after the latest server update, so instead of mucking about with it anymore, I wiped the database and started from scratch. So far so good.
