# Cant update my library

hello,

am newbe to plex, plex work fine with me in the last 4 moths but now i cant update my library

new episode or movies wont show in the server i change nothing just kept plex uptodate

i tried to do this as a result of searching

Additionally:

You have directed Plex at “naked” drive letters.  
Don’t do that. Always create a folder, e.g. F:\Series and F:\Movies.

Separate your content into different folders for Movies, Series, Music, Photos and direct the various types of Plex libraries to only the folders which contain content of their respective type. Right now I see you have series and movies in the same library which will not work.  
e.g. Ghibli productions are ‘Movies’.  
“Bleach” is a tv series, so it needs to get separated and its folder organisation and file names need to get a serious do-over. [https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/)
