Changing audio stream and subtitle settings for whole season possible?

Hello,

I would like to change the default audio language and corresponding subtitle for a complete season (it will be different to the choice made in the general settings). I would be happy to define these on my desktop player for the season and have this reflected as a setting for that season also for my AppleTV. Is this possible?

As for your question… you cannot currently do that.
However this has been requested before and there’s a feature suggestion you can vote for.

[Implemented] Control subtitles on a per-series basis

I would love for a way to change all the default subtitles in a TV series at once. In the language settings, I have it to automatically enable subtitles if foreign audio is detected, however it sometimes displays subtitles for my purely-english shows anyways. The only way I have found to turn off subtitles is by manually going into each episode, of each season, of each TV series and selecting the drop-down subtitle box to “None”. If a TV show has 90 episodes… I have to select “None” 90 individu…
