# Channel scan encoding issue

Channel number/Name:
I have a TVButler USB Stick. When I scan for channels I see during the scan that it finds 200+ channels, but when the scan is complete, I’m only shown 23 of them. The remaining channels are not all protected (and I see a protected channel in the final list)
Instead what appears to be happening is a encoding issue in Plex, since I see this in my syslog:
