# Chapter Thumbnails Not Showing when using Android and Android TV

Server Version#: 1.32.8.7639  
Player Version#: 10.6.0.5141

I have noticed that I can no longer see any Chapter Thumbnails for my Movie or TV library when connecting local or remotely to my own or friends plex sever.

Nvidia Shield and several android phones such as a Galaxy s22 only disply a black box with plex logo for every show / movie I try.

Apple products tested such as iphone, ipad pro, Apple TV show the thumbnails correctly.  
The web player also show the thumbnails. e.g.

As the issue is not just on my server, it seems to be an android app issue going back at least a year or more. I have seen several posts similar on this forum and reddit dating back over 12 months, but i have not been acknowledgement of the bug.

Before I released this was a not just me / my server issue and the web player had been showing thumbnails fine all along, I regenerated all the thumbnails using [Plex Media Scanner via command line](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201242707-plex-media-scanner-via-command-line/). I can confirm thr bundles in the /media folder updated and the refreshed jpegs can be viewed fine.

Can I please be provided a test procedure to follow for further testing and log gathering so Plex can have this issue raised (if not already) and resolved.
