Chromecast with Google TV - Not able to view media (Failed to commit transaction)

Hi there.
I bought a new CCwGTV a few days ago, installed Plex, logged in but cannot access my server. The server is on a Shield 2019 and works fine with every other device (andriod phones, IOS, Android TV boxes etc - no issues). I have tried changing server secure/insecure connections, re-installing app, deleting cache, restarting PMS on shield etc etc but can’t get it to show up any media. I am also unable to cast to the Chromecast from Plex (Unable to play media error)
When I go into Console view on the server i can see that CC logs into the server but then gets the following error followed by multiple other errors:
[Req#5077f] Failed to commit transaction (/data/jenkins/server/1270158109/Statistics/Device.cpp:66) (tries=1): Cannot commit transaction. disk I/O error

Any help appreciated…
