# Client settings push which recipient can accept/reject

Getting family/friends to tune remote quality and Plex settings can be painful, especially for the non technical. My feature suggestion is the ability to, from the server settings/devices panel or users panel, configure client settings, especially remote video quality bandwidth.

The user can then get a prompt to accept/reject. To prevent mass spamming of prompts, the end user account can have a tick box in the “users sharing content with you”, preferably per sharer, that says “allow settings recommendations from this user.”

Just a thought.

There’s already a suggestion for this.  
Please use the search before posting duplicate requests in order to avoid distracting votes (also to stay in line with the forum guidelines for feature suggestions). Therefore closing this one…
