Server Version#:4.143.0 I cannot get remote access to work. You need to enable “Auto firewall” in the ER’s Port Forwarding (shown in your screenshot). Or manually create a firewall rule that allows inbound Internet traffic to TCP port 32400 to pass to the LAN. As you have it configured now, the port forward is correct, but the firewall is still blocking the traffic. ---

Does your ISP provide you with a publicly routable IPv4 address? Usually some extra fee is charged. ---

I’m not positive, but you may need to delete and recreate the port forwarding rule after enabling it. I don’t think it retroactively creates the firewall rules for the already-existing port forwards. ---

Deleted the rule and added it back, no change. Deleted the rule, rebooted the router and added it back, no change. ---

Since you’ve already shown your public IP in the screenshots provide, can you please show the output of `traceroute app.plex.tv`? This will (hopefully) show any intermediate hops between your router and the ISP. They may be employing CG-NAT. You could also check your router and see what it thinks its public IP is. It should match the IP in your screenshots (216.220.xxx.xxx). ---

If your ISP does not provide a publicly routable IPv4 (does not need to be a static one which usually comes with business service) then find a competent one. Otherwise, you can set up remote access via IPv6, cloudflare tunnel, tailscale or via reverse proxy and cloudflare proxy using IPv6 (cloudflare would provide IPv4 connectivity) ---

Is there a work-around if a publicly routable IP4 address isn’t available? I’ve sent an email to my ISP support to inquire. I mistakenly assumed you were talking about a static IP earlier, which would require business class service. ---

Just got a message back from the ISP that they will be configuring a publicly routable IP4 address today. Once that’s active, is there anything else I need to do? ---

That should do. Make sure they’re not blocking the public port you want to use to forward requests to your PMS. ---
