German National TV/ARD 25 August
“Streaming is overtaking classic TV (in the US)”

Plex is featured together with Disney/Netflix/HBO et al. as examples for how streaming is taking over the commercial / classic media.
Congratulations, I guess.

Just one request, with all the commercial success, remember where you came from and who made you what you are - the users that loved a server-based media center that could scale and doesn’t look ■■■■. \<3

from time to time throw us a cookie or two, we are there, and we don’t shout. we are just happy it all works and looks shiny 🙂
(like ‘watch together’ during covid. that was just dope! Also plexamp is with me in the car now. never having to fiddle with spotify again, so happy)

it’s been more than 10 years and I am as happy as I could be with you, lifetime plex pass user by now. So… just don’t climb too fast… we all know what happens, then (and please, for the love of the goddess… no plexcoin or whatnot… please don’t go public)

with love from a loyal fan
