After updating my Synology PMS I am seeing that all my content is showing up with the red Unavailable next to most if not all content. I have validated that my content is available and has not been deleted. Is anyone else seeing this?
Once I updated to PMS 1.13.4.5251, on my Synology, it stop working and my libraries are not available any more as my PLEX server is not responding. But PSM look like it still running on my NAS.
Looking to downgrade to see if the problem is with the update or not…
On the Synology go and check the permissions for user Plex. It looks like that gets reset for some reason. Once I added the permissions back all is working again!
Effectively, PMS did not allowed me to downgrade (well play PLEX team) so my next step was: “Shut up and reboot” and it works! I reboot my Synology and everything restart as expected, including my PLEX server,
Hey I just had the same issue when i had to reinstall Plex on my Synology Diskstation. I’d gone into each folder my media was in to provide permission to plex. But what I forgot to do was to allow permission for plex to the primary server folder.
Once added that fixed the issue. Back up and running now.
