Continue Watching hub not at top of page

“Easter Season” is a collection I created. I have two other collections that will appear above Continue Watching as well when I turn them on to be displayed on the Recommended page. This does not happen on the home page.

Isn’t Continued Watching always supposed to be on the top?

How is the order on Settings - Server - Manage - Libraries - [library name] ?

Does this happen in other client (type)s as well?

Christmas Movies, Easter Season and Christian Movies all will appear above Continued Watching.

Harrison Ford Collection and anything below it, I believe, will show up under Continued Watching.

Does this happen in other client (type)s as well?

Yes, happens in Roku, web browser, Plex for Desktop and Plex HTPC for sure.

Could you drag one of the hubs out of order, save, then reload and drag it back.
See if this has any effect on the clients (maybe force a client refresh).

Okay, now things get weirder (and some clarification):

Clarification: Harrison Ford and Gary Cooper were now showing on top too it appears.

I moved “Easter Season” below “Singing, Dancing and Comedy” and turned on Harrison and Gary. Now Easter Season. Now Easter Season is below Continued Watching (see second image).

Also, I just tested in Plex for Android. Same problem.

How old are these collections? Are they relatively fresh or already months/years old?

Oh, I’m not sure. Is there a way for me to find out? They are Smart Collections, so I can probably recreate one or more if needed.

No. For starters, just revoke the “Publishing” (“Visible on…”), then recreate it.

No change…

I deleted the “Easter Season” row from the Managed Libraries list.

I made sure it wasn’t showing up on the Recommended page.

I went to the collection and added it back on to “Visible on…” and then I move it from the bottom of the Managed Libraries list back to its original location (above Harrison and Gary).

Easter Season still shows up on top.

I’ll have to ask developers about this.

Since it doesn’t happen on Home page, that would seem to indicate a difference in coding on the Home Page and the Recommended Page.

Thanks Otto,

BTW, I tried deleting the Easter Season collection, recreated it, placed it back on Visible on… and still having the same problem.

@Kilgry Thanks for the report. I was able to reproduce seeing the collection at the top. I’m only seeing this when viewing the library, it doesn’t happen on the home page. Is that the same for you?

Yes, this is correct: only on the Library (“Recommended”) and not on the Plex Home Page.

Any status on a hopeful patch for this? Perhaps I’m asking too soon. I realize this isn’t the most serious bug, but am curious as to a possible release.

Thank you.
