# Continue Watching item not synced

Most likely it has a release date that lies in the future.  
Check the date on the video _file_ itself and change it if necessary.  
Do also check embedded metadata (only if it’s a mp4 file).  
Perform the [Plex dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) with the file.
