# Control loading screen

Just wondering if there is a way to have a default image or screen when loading. I’m not referring to the Poster, I know how to change that.

The issue is I have sports that I’ve recorded. They are identified as Other Video in Plex because there isn’t really meta data for last night’s game. When I go to launch them, as they load they grab and display a random frame of video to have in the background as it loads. A lot of this time the frame is a spoiler and you suddenly know the score with 10 minutes left in the game. Is there any way to control this frame grab? I’d be fine with just a black screen.

Oh wow, that is irritating.

For better spoiler control overall, it seems like if they are going to grab a random frame, it should be from the first half (or less) of the video file. A custom image would be nice but it’s probably a bigger job.
