Anyone else using the web player getting transcoder crash errors on this new version of PMS?

I have been using this same setup for years. I’m on the same PC that the server is running on. I watch via web browser (latest Firefox). I pull up my local Plex server in Firefox, I choose my Managed Account that I always watch with, and I can play anything. But today, afer recently updating to the latest PMS version, I am trying to play an episode of a TV show, that is X265, and it just sits there with the spinning circle.

Eventually I get fed up and click and it falls back to an error message:

`Playback Error`
`Conversion failed. The transcoder process crashed.`

I’ve never had this problem for the past 5 years. Watching via web browser has been flawless up until now. I understand that transcoding needs to happen when watching x265 content via web browser, and that is fine. It’s been doing that for years now. My server PC is fast (Ryzen9) and transcodes quickly. I don’t use GPU/hardware accelerated transcoding because it looks bad. But now it seems that I can’t watch anything that is X265 codec anymore. And the only thing I have changed is doing the most recent PMS update.

But check this out - In that same window, on another tab, I log on to Plex, this time to my Admin account. And I can play that same episode just fine. I can see in the dashboard that it is transcoding my playback. So what the???
