# Create virtual tv channels based on plex database

Hi

Having large library may be a problem choosing a movie to watch.  
I was thinking about a way to use plex library as virtual tv channels  
Using definition : a playlist, a library, a gender, a director etc … and create virtual broadcasts (that are not really ongoing until anyone click on one to avoid plex server performance)

Like : at the moment on plex, on horror movie channel there christine that has started 10 mins ago, after, “it” will start at 2pm. You can move to the begining … etc

Anyone find this interesting ?

Check out the feature request for pseudotv. Pseudotv is a plug-in that is available on Kodi that does almost exactly what you describe. It’s a feature that I personally would love to see implemented on plex but hasn’t caught much traction this far.
