So Plex is all about customization right? Except one of their products has no customization, and that is Live TV. So my pitch is to make custom live TV channels. If you wanna make a SpongeBob channel for example, you put all your SpongeBob episodes into a folder for the live channel and then it shuffles the episodes around to make it like a live channel. And maybe you could even put in your own custom ads and bumpers in between episodes. ---

Nope! That is not Live TV. Pre-recorded TV shows organized into folders on your drive can be played. So in Plex go to SpongeBob in the TV show folders library list open the TV show don’t click play go to the 3 dots on the right/more select Shuffle. Now KODI has the addon you are looking for called Pseudotv. We been asking Plex to have that option, but Plex has no interest in creating it! ---

And there’s a feature suggestion discussing for Plex to add a similar solution to their products. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
