# Custom server access URLs setup

Server Version#: 1.19.4.2935
Player Version#: 8.1.2.18135
I am trying to make my server accessible remotely by using the Custom server access URL in network settings. Due to having 2 network cards, I need plex to run off the secondary one, but remote access defaults to the primary which is behind CGNAT, so I cant open the port.
If I enter [http://external](http://external) IP:32400, it works absolutely fine. I get a green padlock on all remote devices. However, if I change that to [http://DDNS](http://DDNS) domain name:32400 it changes to an indirect connection.
I must be doing something stupid, but I cant work it out. Please can anyone offer any suggestions?

I think you need to provide a fitting cryptographic certificate for the domain name.

Thank you so much, this is exactly it. You have saved me from almost certain insanity! 🤪
I extracted the certificate I had already created for the domain, entered all the necessary details in network settings and hey presto, a nice green padlock remotely.
