Gotta have this feature! From a plex pass user / admin perspective, why should the default plex client option be to unnecessarily strain my CPU for transcodes when the client’s internet speed can sustain a much higher quality stream - even direct/max? Users generally stick with default options, they are used to streaming platforms like Netflix where these sorts of choices aren’t even available to them, they don’t think about this stuff. Please enable the plex server admins to set a `preferred remote stream bitrate` for their clients where the client default would be to respect this server preference, yet still be able to override if they so desire.
