I’ve had plex for many years, nothing has changed in my setup apart from updating to latest version of the server software as they are released. Over the past few months, I’ve increasingly had problems deleting episodes or movies after watching them. I watch on the LG TV client, try and delete it and I get the red error box saying it can’t. I then tried to delete it on the web app and also the android app. Android app gives same error, web app doesn’t throw an error but also doesn’t delete it. If I try again a few hours later it deletes ok. I checked the ‘Now playing’ status section and nothing is playing. Previous versions never had this issue. I can’t seem to find the error in the logs either, but I’m probably not looking in the right places. Any ideas? ---

Found the error in the log. ERROR - SHFileOperationW returned 0x20 for FO\_DELETE on ‘D:\Download\Series\someshow\Season 01\S01E03.mkv’. Falling back to deleting file. Is there a fix or a workaround to get this working consistently like before? ---

Delete this post, I didn’t find a post relating to this in the forum search but when I searched google for SHFileOperationW returned 0x20 I found the relevant forum post. ---
