# Delete PMS from Nvidia Shield

Hi Guys,

Am I ok to just fully remove the Plex Media Server app from my Nvidia Shield Pro (2019)?

I just want to use the Shield as a player not server and it looks like the two apps are intertwined.

I can delete it but just checking if it will break anything on the player side first?

Just remove the Plex “Server” app using the Play Store.
