# Delete uploaded posters

You mentioned deleting. I accidentally pasted the wrong URL in the Upload poster via URL via the web app. How do I delete it?

Deletion is not possible.
Just upload a new poster.
But honestly; I recommend you to store this poster as a jpg file beside your video files. Name it according to the Plex recommendation for ‘Local Media Assets’.
This ensures that the posters is available if you ever have to recreate the library.

Thanks for the info and suggestion. Is it possible to delete uploaded album/artist posters for music? Same circumstance.
