We have home album of photos we’ve added to Plex. Occasionally there will be a snap of something in a store or whatever. When we delete these photos from the directory where everything is stored they seem to stick around in the preview.
When we click on the item in Plex we get the This item cannot be found or somesuch error.
When will these go away? I’ve tried Empty Trash, Refresh Metadata, Re-Scan library files. But these oddball pictures still insist on sticking around.
So, there’s seriously no answer for this? I’ve figured out that Plex isn’t going to ever realize the photos aren’t coming back so I’ve taken to deleting these unwanted/missing photos with Plex by temporarily enabling “Allow media deletion”.
This is obviously not the most desirable method.
