# Different VLAN clients can't see server

I am using pfSense for my firewall and Unifi switch & AP.
I am unable to get any client on my Guest VLAN to communicate with my Plex server on the LAN subnet. These are my firewall rules for the Guest VLAN:
I followed [the official documentation](https://support.plex.tv/articles/201543147-what-network-ports-do-i-need-to-allow-through-my-firewall/) for which ports to allow, which is what is contained in the destination ‘Plex’ port alias in the rules.
Any advice for what I’m doing wrong? Which Plex logs, if any, could I look at for an insight into this?

Figured it out with help. Turns out that the different VLAN basically needs to be treated like a remote connection and a rule needs to be set up on the WAN interface to allow 32400 into the plex server.
