# DNS Issue...but no DNS Server Running?

HELP!
here are the log files. Looks like they cannot create a socket on UDP port 53, but there is nothing running on the set up DNS at this point (it's the default 10.0.1.1)

nope i didnt get it can i have some help on this topic as that im not a developer. Im getting the same error as the first post above.

The op did not follow the instructions for OSX.
They missed out the sudo command so the application would not run correctly, you just need to follow the wiki instructions step by step.
