I had Plex working fine about a year back, ever since then, I cannot connect to my media files. I did not actively try to fix the issue until the past couple of weeks. When I am in a Plex app, either web or local, I select to add my media, and it gets stuck and wants me to download and install the Plex Media Server (PMS). I have done this numerous times without success. My media is on a Terramaster network drive. I logged into the drive and was able to install the PMS directly on the drive. I tried and it still was locked on wanting a download. I downloaded and installed the PMS on the computer and still no luck.

Any ideas? I am really close to another media server.

Sounds like the server is no longer claimed / linked to your account.

Can you still access it using the bundled web app locally (using the server’s local IP from within the same network)?
