# Does Plex share information with Google/YouTube?

Is it just me or does Plex share information with Google? I just uploaded a very rare concert to my plexserver. I don’t use Google as a search engine but I do use Youtube. I have never searched for this concert on youtube or google and yet I got clips recommended to me from that concert on YT.

I would hope not but if you are using Google Chrome, they are pretty invasive and might have ‘logged’ information about the concert.

You might have researched metadata / posters about this, using your web browser, and/or querying the search engine of your choice.
