# Does Plex TV Series agent have a database?

Yeah the [Plex Dance](https://forums.plex.tv/t/the-plex-dance/197064) is a known trick 🙂 It has to deal with how plex caches information in order to optimize/maintain records. By plex dancing it, you clear out any lingering records, then allow plex to re-index the media without the context of the previous information.
