# Does Plexamp on a Raspberry Pi require a PlexPass to allow remote control?

The headless app requires a Plex Pass; your daughter’s phone should see it on the network, but it needs to be on the same network for discovery. [Plexamp logs](https://forums.plex.tv/t/plexamp-debug-logs-how-to-extract-them/753427) might be helpful if that’s the case.
