Downgrade Plex Media Server Ubuntu from Beta 1.15 to Public 1.14

Is it possible to downgrade from Beta 1.15.1.710 to 1.14.1.5488 Public without losing any data?

Yes. Uninstall the package without purging.
Install the lower version.

Your data is held in /var/lib/plexmediaserver
The software is held in /usr/lib/plexmediaserver

This allows them to be manipulated independently.

Ah got you! So literally dpkg -r plexmediaserver and then install public version and should be good to go?

Yes.

dpkg -r

followed by

dpkg -i
