I‘m not sure I understand what you’re asking for. Where do you want to disable this feature (can you maybe share a screenshot)? Are you asking to disable it for yourself or some other users/friends? ---

I want To be able to set up the server . So that no one can download a movie. Yes, in a word, to disable this function And I can’t find where to enter In Libraries, I don’t have this setting ---

Other users can only download media from your server for local/offline playback in the desktop app (Plex for Mac/Windows/Linux) and mobile apps if you specifically grant them that option. That’ll depend a bit on what client you’re using. All clients should have an auto-play option. I apologize I feel like I don’t know how to ask a question, I’m NOT understood I know how to add a user ! But I want to know, HOW to add a oser without him seeing other people’s accounts when he logs in. At the moment all users see all accounts. and I want each user, when they log in, to see only their account. How is this done? Thank you! From what you describe, you’ve added the users as members of your `Plex Home` (see the settings menu item above the line highlighted by FordGuy61. You can share libraries with users without adding them to your Plex Home, using the `Manage Library Access` section. 1. open [https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access](https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/manage-library-access) 2. click `Grant Library Access` 3. select a friend with whom you want to share a library (or their e-mail address, if they don’t have a Plex account yet and aren’t your Plex friends) 4. proceed with the dialog of selecting libraries you want to share with them, apply restrictions… ---

So if I want a user to no longer be visible in Plex home I only create it from manage library access ? Without creating the user in Plex Home ? I understand. Okay. ? Thank you ! ---

That’s correct. Plex Home is really only designed for use with members of your immediate family / household. ---

please! I’m also interested in adding television channels to my plex, can I do that? and if I can, do I have to have a TV tuner attached to my computer? Otherwise, it won’t work? ---

Yes, you can add TV channels to Plex, and there are a couple of ways to do it. ### **1. Using a TV Tuner (HDHomeRun)** The easiest and most reliable way is with an **HDHomeRun**. Basically, it’s a network TV tuner that connects to your home network and lets Plex pull live TV from it. - You hook up an **HDHomeRun** to your antenna or cable source. - Connect it to your home network (Ethernet). - In Plex, go to _Live TV & DVR_ settings and add the HDHomeRun as a tuner. - If you have Plex Pass, you get access to the TV guide and DVR to record shows. This method works well and integrates properly with Plex. ### **2. IPTV** If you don’t have a TV tuner, you can use IPTV, but Plex doesn’t officially support it. I’ve played around with it using **xTeVe** and similar tools, and it works, though it needs some setup. - Install **xTeVe** (acts as a virtual tuner). - Add your IPTV M3U playlist. - Map the channels in xTeVe. - In Plex, add it as a tuner under _Live TV & DVR_. ---
