I just fired up an old ipad and updated it to ios 16.5 and installed the latest plex app. When i go to download a show, it chugs along then i get “download verification failed”. Can we please bring back the old sync feature? Being able to choose exactly how many episodes to download per show, a certain quality per show etc. The granular control we had is now gone. I still miss it. While downloads seems to be working on different ipad, it will not work on this one. I’ve tried all the usual steps of deleting the app, hard reboot of the ipad… it’s just so frustrating when plex turns out these new “features” and they don’t work because they’re too focused on streaming and moving away from the home media server. I guess it’s time to pick up emby.
