# Dragon Ball (1986) Metadata Issue

i’ve noticed that the original Dragon Ball series doesn’t match the metadata for any episodes, after season 1.  
i’ve tried unmatching the files, then waiting 24 hours, and refreshing metadata, with no success.  
i also tried pointing the series directly to tvdb, tmdb, and imdb with the same results.

i came across this post:

and was not able to duplicate any success there either. it’s not really vital, just soooper annoying.

What episode order are you using at the moment and what episode order have you set for the show in the show‘s advanced tab (when editing the show)?

That is because the Plex agent uses TheMovieDB as its default episode ordering.  
(which can be changed in the properties of the library)  
And Dragon Ball has only 1 season listed on TheMovieDB. [Dragon Ball (TV Series 1986-1989) - Seasons — The Movie Database (TMDB)](https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/12609-dragon-ball/seasons)

In order to use the episode ordering from theTVDB [ドラゴンボール - TheTVDB.com](https://thetvdb.com/series/dragon-ball#seasons)  
you need to edit the Dragonball show at its highest level, then select “TheTVDB (Aired)” for Episode Ordering on the Advanced tab.  
Then Refresh Metadata on the whole show.

I recommend you to perform some research on the two above websites before adding show into Plex. Particularly about the layout of the show, whether newer seasons are listed as separate shows or whether the show actually has several seasons or just uses one season.
