As the title said I'm using the arm package with a DS213 and it keeps telling me the operation failed when I try with any manual install of Plex. The one from the synology source works fine though, can anyone help me?
OK so it was entirely Chrome. I didn't do anything different other than trying to install from firefox and it suddenly worked perfectly. Wish someone would note that issue somewhere. Either way thanks so much for your help you're awesome.
Dead thread but i thought i’d share my solution to the same problem.
Browser choice made no difference and after some experimentation i found that the cause of the problem for me was the address i was accessing DSM from.
When accessing DSM through an exernal address, i got operation failed
- my.domain.name:80/ (using a reverse proxy inside a synology hosted VM)
- my.synology.me/
- 92.xx.yy.zz (my public IP)
simply logging in from the local network with the static IP presented no problems
- 192.168.1.200:5000
