DS218PLAY update to DSM 7.2 and lost libraries

Hi! I just updated from DSM 7.0 to DSM 7.2 and lost my libraries. I think is about all that stuff about plexmediaserver permissions but I can´t find the solution. Help. Thanks

If you lose your libraries. it usually means the server got UNCLAIMED.

Upgrading from 7.0 → 7.2 has done that to a few folks (DSM burps)

Easy fix:

  1. Uninstall PMS (Uninstall Only - Keep option)

  2. Reinstall same package
    – New or Lost (Plex Claim Token option)
    – Get a claim token
    – Paste from the other browser tab into the window on the form
    – Click NEXT NEXT DONE

  3. It will take a few seconds longer than normal to claim but will log in again.

  4. The installer will confirm:
    – Success - fail at installing package (usually success)
    – Show your Plex Username & Email if it was able to reclaim it to your account

If this fails then we take the next step and confirming the shared folder permissions are intact / repaired.
