# DS920+, Docker, Linuxserver.io, dockerd still writes every 20 seconds

Server Version#: 1.25.6.5577

As the title says, I’m running on a DS920+ using the [LinuxServio.io](http://LinuxServio.io) Plex Docker container to attempt to fix dockerd writing to the drives every 5 seconds. My server is running great for 4k and HDR transcodes, I’m just trying to get this in a state where it’s not uselessly writing to the drives.

I’ve read every thread I could find on the subject and was led to believe that moving from the Plex docker image to the LinuxServer would solve the issue. While it has made it better, it still happens. The Plex container would write every 5 seconds, but the [LinuxServer.io](http://LinuxServer.io) version is happening every 30 seconds.

Is this normal and expected? Has anyone found a solution to this issue that can be linked to? Thanks in advance!

No, there isn’t a practical way to completely prevent Plex from performing periodic disk activity.
