# DSM 7, Daily Plex server crashes

You have a few other issues, namely the maximum number of directories DSM can monitor (by default).

If you look at my FAQ, Step “c” where I show the value to use for `s2s_watches_max`, you should be able to use **65536** comfortably and have room for growth. **32768** is also a good number if you wish to save that extra little bit of memory (if your system has less than 8GB)
