# Duel CPU's with Nvidia GPU harware transcoding failes to start

Im also in exactly the same boat as yourself here. I’ve been trying to get this to work since March.

I have dual Xeon CPUs, in fact possibly the exact same cpu.  
A few people on that thread had the same issue with dual processors. I’ve still not got to the bottom of it.  
I’ve tried bare metal installs of Ubuntu, docker and virtualisation, still can’t get plex to hardware transcode with the nvidia gpu for my web client.  
I’m more than happy to add logs or test any config
