I am new to Plex. Unfortunately, I could not find any answer from Plex itself and hope the forum can provide me this information.
If I have DVD and Blu-Ray but no digital copy. Can I get them into server/library and how?

If you mean you like to use Plex as a kind of DVD/BluRay catalog, there is a way, but it is not easy.
And of course it defies the purpose of Plex as a media **server**.

see [Is there any possibility for browsing my DVD collection in my media server?](https://forums.plex.tv/t/is-there-any-possibility-for-browsing-my-dvd-collection-in-my-media-server/205202/3)

Get MakeMKV (Shareware: [http://www.makemkv.com/buy/](http://www.makemkv.com/buy/)) and use it to pull the movie/show from the DVD to your Computer HDD. Use Use Handbreak (freeware: [https://handbrake.fr/](https://handbrake.fr/)) to optimize the file bitrate, format, subtitles, etc. Both the freeware come with pretty good instructions. IF you are copying TV shows make sure you use the PLEX naming conventions. See [https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/your-media/](https://support.plex.tv/articles/categories/your-media/) for naming of TV and Movies.
