DVR Beta Doesn't Auto-Transcode?

Hi Everyone!

I figured the reason you couldn’t watch the TV show being recorded before it was finished was because after recording there would be an auto-transcode to convert the .ts MPEG2 into .mp4 h.264 (using HDHR Connect). Apparently that’s wrong.

I don’t see any options that would enabled the DVR Beta functionality to kick-off a post-processing transcode on the files… So these will stay in MPEG-2 format on my server indefinitely unless I use the “optimize” feature to transcode.

Am I just missing this option somewhere? Is this a planned feature?

Further, it seems there is no option to auto-optimize media; each media needs selected individually. :-/

I suppose I can try the “transcode while recording” feature and see if there are any hiccups.
