# DVR Recordings skipping again

I primarily pay for Plex for two things, DVR and live TV. I can do everything else I need to do very effectively with other things. But an update seems to have broken the DVR yet again. A quick search didn’t show it already reported here.

Getting short skips in audio (video seems fine with casual observation) in DVR recordings. It’s not unwatchable like the last time something similar happened, but it is really distracting.  
They show up in VLC player as well so I assume it’s in the recording. I suppose it’s possible it’s an OTA thing, but I have not noticed it in live TV, and it was in recordings of 3 shows from two channels over two days. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

Maybe it was a fluke. All recordings today seem fine.

Edit to clarify - all recordings recorded today. Existing recordings still stutter.

Have you set the DVR to convert on the Fly, may be causing this issue

If you mean under settings --\> live tv and dvr --\> device settings --\> convert video while recording, it is set to off for all of my tuners.
