Server Version#: 1.43.3.10861 Player Version#: 4.160.0 Any audio transcoding using EAE is failing. The stream never starts. I’ve tried deleting the codecs folder, this did not solve the issue. Can you try deleting the cert file as well. You have new cert but your server is still trying to use the locally cached one. stop the server from running the the file to delete is in the caches folder in the PMS data folder called. `cert-v2.p12` then start the server back up ---

I don’t think i said that. I did say it was likely a connection issue as there is no such thing as us resetting EAE license. ---

the issue appeared again. Installed latest stable PMS, it is solved again. ---

the playback issues seem to come back randomly. It really seems related to the cert file you recommended to delete: stopping the server, deleting the .p12 file and restarting fixes the issue. ---

So you have to keep deleting that file and restarting to get it to work? ---

The cert solved it for others because their server could not connect to to the place to get the codecs download. Your issue appears to be either a bad drive or possibly permissions to the directory. ---

Yes I just noticed the issue again, deleted the file, and now playback works again on those files with EAC3 audio. ---

Thanks for the reply. I’m pretty certain I’ve checked permissions on the Codecs folder and i think a /tmp/something folder EAE needs so I doubt that was the issue. I feel like if it was a drive issue I probably would have had issues in the other services I run, and SMART tests don’t show any issues. So could be, but I doubt it. Strangely, it resolved after I updated my unraid OS from 7.2.5 to 7.3.2. This forced me to update/redownload my nvidia driver, so I think somehow either the OS upgrade or driver update fixed the issue for me. Thank you! ---

Found it. The issue was that plex and jellyfin were using the same transcode folder, causing permissions issues. Thanks for the help.
