I’m new to Plex and not extremely tech savvy. For some reason I keep getting the error message “There was an error editing this item” every time I try to edit the information for one of my movies. I’ve been able to do it before, but for the last 2 days I keep getting this message. I’m sure it’s something I’m doing but not sure what. Any suggestions? Thank you. ---

What are you trying to edit, what field? Can you edit other fields? Can you edit any other movie? ---

When I’m in my movie library and click on the little pencil on the bottom left side of the movie thumbnail I get a pop up screen. In this screen I used to be able to change the name of the movie, date, poster, background poster, etc. Now when I click on that pencil in the bottom left of the movie thumbnail I get the pop up screen but it is blank with just the little circle thing turning in the middle, then after a minute or so the error message pops up. ---

Not at all what I expected. Sound like Plex is having an issue retrieving the metadata. Do you have any new web browser extensions? Or have you updated one lately? ---
