Eero flagging botnets, how to know if it’s just Plex?

I can’t add a photo but I got 30 botnet flags on my Eero yesterday. I was doing a lot on PLEX but how can I be certain my PC isn’t in danger? For reference I have 0 flags any other day except Saturday had 2. Is my pc cooked? How to know exactly what’s happening?

If you want help understanding Eero security alerts you should be calling Eero.

That being said I don’t think you should get too worried about alerts from security software on a home router.

  • It will alert you a lot, and overstate the danger of issues, because this makes it look like it’s “doing something” for the consumer.
  • If it’s informing you of attacks it blocks, you don’t have to worry — because it’s blocking them. So it’s doing its job.
