# Empty Trash does nothing - no errors

Server Version#: 1.21.3.4021

Yesterday I discovered my storage was filling up. I found that it was my Plex DVR folder. There is a subfolder called #recycle that is full of what appears to be every DVR episode I’ve ever deleted that totals over 3TB. I found my Plex server wasn’t set to empty the trash automatically so I enabled it and then tried to manually empty the trash for all my libraries. That did not empty the #recycle folder though. Looking at the logs I see the following happens:

Apparently this recycle bin folder is a function of my Synology NAS and not Plex. I setup scheduled task to empty the recycle bin of items deleted over 30 days ago.
