# ENTERING CODE TO SIGN IN ON NVIDIA SHIELD

I am trying to sign in on my nvidia shield (for Plex) I have set up an account. On my Nvidia Shield when I try to sign in it tells me to go to (http;[//plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link)) and enter a 4 digit code which is displayed, but when I go to the Plex Tv site there is no link shown that I can find to enter this code. It is driving me “NUTS”. Thank you for any help!!

You need to do that on a computer not on the Shield. The Shield supplies the code and you keep that screen up and enter it on the computer.
Also if you are really using (http;[//plex.tv/link](https://plex.tv/link)) it is wrong it should be ([http://plex.tv/link](http://plex.tv/link)) note the “:” instead of a “;” but a more complete/correct address is ([https://www.plex.tv/link/](https://www.plex.tv/link/))

I’m still having the same issues guess I won’t use Plex. I’m just an ol’ guy who is not too tech savvy!!!

I am having similar issues with my new shield. I get the link code on the Shield, go to the /link page on a browser, sign in and enter the link. I get the ‘Account Linked’ confirmation page and the shield shows up in my list of devices, but it never actually updates on the shield, it just stays on the Link code until I ext then if I go back in prompts me to link it again.
