I have just upgraded to the latest version of Plex on my True nas server, however when i come to play any movie title I get the following error code. Error code: s3015 (Media). any surgestions. ---

I’ve just had the exact same thing happen, but just for music. Restarted my server and still nothing. All players having the same issue. Though my windows player gives a different error: An unknown error occurred (4294967282) ---

Just updated my server as well to the latest version. Nothing changed. Still getting the error. Only for audio playback though. ---

fresh install of server now getting this same error when trying to play using safari ---

I don’t recall where I found it but I had what may be the same issue. What worked for me was to go into the Plex Web Player `Settings > Plex Web > Debug` and DISABLE `Direct Stream`. I left `Direct Play` enabled. Unfortunately this needs to be done individually for each Managed User but it resolved the issue for me. ---

I am running the latest PlexPass version of Plex Server (version 1.30.0.6442) on a Synology NAS and now also receive error S3015, none of my media will play! I tried disabling `Direct Stream` and `Direct Play`, but that doesn’t work, unfortunately … any other ideas? ---

Short update: The desktop app isn’t able to stream any of my media, either, whereas the Plex apps (both “Plex” and “PlexAmp”) on my iPhone work. This means there’s some issue with the web frontend, no? ---

Another short update: On Windows the web app works just fine (in any browser). So, maybe this is related to some odd macOS Ventura issue … ? ---
