# Error when installing latest version on Synology Armv8

Server Version#: v.1.43.3.10896-cb3ebc72d  
Player Version#:

Installing PlexMediaServer-1.43.3.10896-cb3ebc72d-aarch64\_DSM72.spk on an Armv8 Synology (DS925+) generates an error: “This package is not supported on the platform of Synology NAS or is incompatible with the current DSM version”.

The DS925+ is NOT an ARM powered device. It uses an AMD Ryzen V1500B CPU.

For the AMD CPU you need to install the Intel/AMD 64bit Plex package.

If you have DSM 7.2.2 or higher installed Then you also need to install Plex for DSM 7.2.2+.

Ah, so the problem is in the NAS Compatibility Chart ([https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MfYoJkiwSqCXg8cm5-Ac4oOLPRtCkgUxU0jdj3tmMPc/edit?gid=1274624273#gid=1274624273](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MfYoJkiwSqCXg8cm5-Ac4oOLPRtCkgUxU0jdj3tmMPc/edit?gid=1274624273#gid=1274624273)), which has the 925+ as an ARM device (row 312)

Unfortunately it was an easy mistake to make. Someone probably copied and pasted the wrong line and did not notice the error.

In any case, I hope you now have Plex installed and running.
