Hi, I’m currently using Plex on a cheap VPS that can’t handle transcoding at all. I am able to watch anything if I select a external player to watch my media (VLC or mpv), the problem is: both of them can’t recognize subtitles. I can select multiple audio tracks but the subtitles that appear on the built-in Plex player disappear on the external players. I’m referring to external subtitles (movie.mkv and at the same folder movie.srt). Is there any solution for this? ---

have you tried accessing your Plex sever via DLNA? that should enable all the subtitles as well… to activate on your Plex server go to `Settings > Server > DLNA`. ---

Anyone? I really want to solve this problem.
