# Fast Forward and Resume

I am having trouble fast forwarding and resuming mp4 format movies. When fast forwarding the audio mutes and the display shows the speed but the video does not fast forward but continues to play. When pressing play the audio returns. Basically the fast forward feature acts just like a mute button.
Also when resuming a movie I get a white screen and nothing else. Starting a movie from the beginning works fine.
Are these known issues?

I have this issue, but only when I have the Pi set to force transcoding.

It appears this is still an issue with RasPlex 0.2.2.
Is this still on the backlog/issuelist?
Some details:
I've noticed this while playing an MKV file.
It's being transcoded on the server.
Sound mutes, I see the fast-forward on the screen (or backward, which doesn't work also), but screen is still at normal speed.
Also, it looks like RasPlex doesn't 'see' the complete movie. When at 02:45 it tells me the movie ends at 03:12 (or something like that). This probably has something to do with the transcoding and buffer size (I don't know how the system works, but this seemed like a logical explanation).
If necessary I can provide logs (I think), but it's not like the system is crashing. The functionality just doesn't work.
